Mini Ladybug Magnets (Set of 5)

Description

Add a touch of the garden to your fridge with this set of 5 handmade ceramic ladybug magnets. Each of my pieces is a unique work of art, hand-made and lovingly shaped and glazed, so there will be a few imperfections.

The creation process:
1. I rolled the clay out into a flat sheet and cut the shape.
2. After drying for 2-3 days, I trimmed excess clay off of the piece.
3. After reaching the bone-dry stage, the design was painted with underglaze.
4. The piece was bisque fired in the kiln.
5. The piece was washed, then glazed with a clear glaze.
6. The piece was fired in the kiln for a second time at cone 6.
7. It makes its way (hopefully) to your fridge! 🙂
